My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms, although appearing smaller than in the pictures, were clean and equipped with a ceiling fan for air circulation, which was handy after a mix-up with our initial room arrangements. The service was up to the usual excellent and friendly standard, especially with a very nice front desk experience. The location, while clean but needing a slight update, provided easy access to nearby stores and restaurants in Conroe TX. The dining experience offered a good variety, akin to what you'd expect at a typical Holiday Inn Express.
